  • its a work in progress....

Started out as a plain old sportco martini in 22 cal with open sights.
Owned it for 20 years but barely used it as I had scoped rifles and they were easier to use.
Finally fitted a scope to it and shot it at the range, dam its accurate!
Just added a roll over cheek piece stock and bent the lever to suit, looking forward to using it soon!

You will find those old Sportco's where and still are a formidable bit of kit on the range... Depending on condition they fetch a premium price...
I regularly see one of those beat Annies and CZ's at benchrest at our local club...

Try a few different types of ammo in it (pistol and rifle) and you could be surprised what groups she will spit out...

It shoots like that and the barrel doesn't even float?

Ive actually shot better groups than that with it.....just happened to have a photo of that one.
Ive tried different ammo but it seems to much prefer the cci sv ammo, nice for me cos its under 5 bucks a box......lol!

        Nice one.

The new stock when it's all finished will make the rifle look the business too.

Great looking rifle. I want to get a martini cadet like this in 357mag.

Nice looking rifle mate, I like seeing something different. Are you going to make the stock the same finish as the forearm?

Yep, will make sure I have the stock in the correct shape I like before stripping back the forestock the same colour.

and the almost completed product...got to re-blue the lever and maybe a better butt plate than the "5 minute job at work" that it currently wears!
