  • Help! - I have a hole in my safe

    Well here's the family
22LR, 223 Remington, 243 Winchester 6.5x284 Norma, but there's clearly something missing. I'm pretty sure it's a nice short 7600 (pistol grip, brake & 10 round mag), but it won't be until Feb/Mar so there's time for a change of heart.

possibly a Steyr Scout, has anybody got one?
If the rules change it'll be an SLR, but that's unlikely Looks like an SLR would fit in that gap perfectly too

      +1 no safe is complete without a 12g I don't reckon.

You could come over to the dark side and put a 45-70 in there. Play dirty and shoot some black stuff with nice big 500 grainers, then, if you really must, try some smokless with jacketed pills.
    No need to be shy.

Someone once said that the best part about filling a calibre gap in your collection is that it creates two more calibre gaps.

More than one hole. Take that foam stuff out and you could fit in a lot more. Don't ask how I know lol

It has been said that no longarms safe is complete without at least one service rifle; how about a nice old SMLE, Mauser or Mosin?

My vote goes to a shotgun as well.

I'm voting for the fun factor... You need a lever or a shotgun, or why not both? If you could find one, a lever 12 gauge would be a hoot. If not, maybe a 30-30 or 44-40 would have you in piggin heaven, and might just bring out the cowboy in you.
