  • price of winchester mod 70 stainless

    Hi guys have a question.
interested in hearing your price for a Winchester mod 70 .270 win, synthetic stainless, been shot about 4-500 times an has a Simmons scope ontop 3-9x40.

All in good nick an promises it has been cleaned after range an hunting trips.

    Your thoughts

im unsure of the RRP, so im a bit unsure. it would be a few years old at least

    cheers

One went on abused bums today with a 2-10x40 weaver scope with leupold rings and bases for $675 but it went quick Not sure about usage thou can't read it all went too quick . It seems when ever he sells guns they are well priced and he puts a bunch of them on at once and most of them go quick . Blackalls is only ten minutes from me but I've never met him he's always sold anything I've rang to buy

Check to see if its one of the new FN made M70's first. If its the old "new" M70 made by Winchester, there a reason they went bust, they were crap. The new FN made Winchesters are great rifles, I have two of them, but wouldn't touch a Post 64 M70 made by Winchester.

Nothing wrong with any Mod 70. I had a post 64 in .222, from new.
Was handed down from my oldman & Had over 5000 rounds through it.
        IMO between $ 600 - $800

why, whats wrong with the post M70's? Ive used one in .338 for years as my main rifle with not an issue. I would take any M70 over a lemmington any day of the week.
Strangely enough, I did when I bought it, chose the M70 over a 700 and never looked back. Back then it had a POS Bushnell on it and I paid $750
