You need a Lumley Arms Barrel Bracket, and from there any smith can mate up a barrel.

I have a 308/30-06 switch barrel. Fun fun fun!

    Thanks,

What do you think of the brackets Oddball? How quickly are you able to change calibre? And do they hold zero very well?

Any feed issues with the differing OALs between the two cases ?
I was thinking I'd have to choose between .30-06/.35Whelen/.270 or .308/.358/7-08/.243

I have a 7600 that is on it's third barrel, 2 .308's and it is now a .358 Win. I have one of the Lumley adapters and if I can pick up a reasonable 7600 will be making an 8 X 57.

      John,
      Why an 8mm? I would consider a 9.3x62 though....

I do a lot of culling and 8 x 57 ammo is cheap at times.

I'm wondering about point of impact moving as well.

I'm moving between 243 and 338 federal barrels. Havnt had the time to shoot em yet.
