Here is an Israeli surplus Tanfoglio of the "Combat Shooting Cohai" variety. "Cohai" means "trainer" in Hebrew, I'm told. This is a post-88 production Tanfoglio and it has a passive firing pin block. The lower is coated in hard matte chrome and the upper is blued.

Here is an Israeli surplus "✡ MOSSAD ✡" pistol. Again, it's a post-88 (newer than the one show above) production Tanfoglio with the passive firing pin block. This one's all hard matte chromed and has cocking serrations on the front of the slide.

I do love the role mark and would love to get one to go with my Stock III

the old girls are cool. but I like my stock II. it's a large frame in 38 super but I also have a 9mm barrel for it and mostly shoot 9mm out of it at the moment.
my apologies in advance as the pics aren't very creative and were taken with an iphone. but it's a nice little pistol.
nothing much done to it. got a few different front sights, obviously got the 9mm barrel. half a dozen mags (the chrome ones), just bought a bunch of the ben stoeger basepads and have henning bush and henning grip screws. and grips of course. I'm about to do extreme hammer, sear and firing pin and probably try the extreme guiderod too.

Started out as a Stock II (9mm) but since I am shooting it in Standard Division it has had a few improvements made:- EGW hammer and sear fitted
- Oversized trigger pin - made from the shank of a drill bit
- Frame squashed to improve the frame/slide fit
- Barrel re-crowned and re-fitted to slide
Henning parts as appropriate:- Cone-fit guide rod
- SS guide rod bushing
- Magwell with 3-4mm taken off the bottom to make the magazine base pads hang out a bit further
- Extended firing pin
It has also had the upper safety notch in the frame ground out to give the detent more purchase, making the safety more positive. Currently running a 10lbs Wolff recoil spring, though this has probably weakened somewhat by now. Trigger pull comes in at a touch over 1.5lbs.
