      Yes, once again Morgo knows his Firearms, good call.

      If you zoom the photo you will see the answer.

      The steel on this 1911 is soooo hard.
      I call it the Hammer.

      It's Bullet proof, always functions without a hitch.
      I don't think it will wear out.

      How do you find the GCG? So much good and bad info bout them, just like lil walther p22 I'm about to get.

        Have heard GSG's finish doesn't wear too well

        But a mate of mine has one and he's pretty happy with it just as a plinker.

          I think just about everyone I've seen has excessive finish wear for the amount it has been used.

        Here is my STI (Advantage Arms) .22lr conversion.

        The frame is a Colt with all the internal parts from Wilson Combat. So not the cheapest .22lr around some where above the 2k mark!

        I am missing one of the screws that hold the steel insert for the last round lock cut out. Richard has one on order for me. Should be here next month.

        Yeah the barrel tightens to the slide release and does not move, really accurate system.
