                Beer can rear sight, first time I've heard that. Guessing its from the large screw sight and having anything thats available used to adjust it?

                  The sport model rear sight is often called the beer can sight from the looks.. I'd rather a nice set of novaks but it's pretty robust and has a decent sight picture.. Rather than change them I might follow your thinking and just buy another HP :P

                IMHO, the Browning HiPower is one of the two pistols everyone should own (the other is the 1911A1)
