  • Glock 17L

    Morning all,
Been eying off a used 17L at dealers for awhile and finally decided to make it mine only to be told it had sold,
So does anyone have or know of a 17L for sale?

And does anyone have much experience with them?

I've not had any experience with the 17L, but as you might be aware, the Glock 34 replaced it.

Are you after a Glock with a longer barrel than the standard 'full-size' Glock? If so, the Glock 34 would make a good choice.

Rebel firearms had one for sale a little while ago, not sure if they still have it.

The 17L was my first Glock.

I like the longer sight radius of the 17L but prefer the balance of the 34.

What is the model of the knife on the left and does it hold an edge very well? like the look of the angle of the blade.

Of all the Glock Models, the 17L would be my preferred model for the accuracy matches, based on the longer sight radius and barrel length. I always wanted to buy a cheap one and put a Pulver barrel in it and upgrade the trigger and go play hard to prove it could be done.

I may know of one for sale, I will check and get back to you...

        Cheers Oddball,
That's my idea behind it also,
Have a 34 but would like to try the 17L and see what can be done with it.

Sog X-Ray Vision, its an ok knife. Never been sharpened and cuts small rope just fine still, though its not really used.

If you don't already have one you probably won't get one unless you pay lots of $$$.

In a Christmas miracle I have tracked a 17L down for the princely sum of $350
