  • Xmas revolver

Ive been after a custom S&W service match revolver for awhile and seem to miss them every time they end up on used guns. Was going to get one built but stumbled on this in the US and now its mine. Should land here in about 6 weeks.

This is a Bill Davis Model 10. From what ive researched Bill Davis was "The man" who built these things lots of threads about him on the S&W forum. These guns were used for PPC which is like our service match here. This particular gun was a prize in the Desert Regional Shoot held by the 4 Queens Casino in Las Vegas. They guy i bought it from is a Hwy Patrol Cop who won it years ago used it in 3 comps & its sat in his safe ever since. Hopefully it lives up to the Bill Davis reputation when it lands here. Ill be using it in Service Match & hopefully start shooting WA1500

Picked it up from the dealer today. Amazing trigger, like nothing I've ever felt before. Very heavy gun weighs more than my Anaconda

          Nice, very nice indeed!!!

I wouldnt mind a Davis "Windmaster", which was probably his ultimate design. I would love to get a feel for the trigger, and open up the sideplate for a squizz.

I think "our" equivalent would be a RB custom, followed by one built by PK.

          Thanks for sharing.

            That's nice indeed Kav !
I love 'old school' spinners and it's nice that yours has a story behind it too.
I have seen Davis grips on various s/h guns for sale and I think I might know where there is one.
