  • S&W 2206

    Hi,

Looking at a cheap plinking gun and something for the missus, she doesnt like the 9MM. She also prefers it to be silver (typical).

So I was wondering what the S&W 2206 are like? Good, bad etc.

Is/was one on used guns for $550 but dont know anyrhing about this model.

    Any feedback would greatly appreciated

They are a cheap plinking gun, no more, no less.

    Thanks.

Suppose what I meant was. Are they better than say a S&W22A which you can pick up new for approx $500. vs that 2206 for example used for $550. The mrs might have to get used to black

The S&W 2206 is a decent little .22. Better IMO than the 22a and many other of the newer cheap .22s.

Make sure its a 2206 and not a 622. They look the same but the 622 is cheaper due to the alloy frame compared to a SS frame of the 2206.
Mines been great the whole time I've had it.
