Oh, is this a "any Cz pix you can find on the internet", or "your CZ pix" thread?

Ideally its a CZ pistol that you own but with allowances for unique CZ pics that you come across

PS I don't own a CZ 75 Shadow line and currently there is only 1 in Australia

How hard is it to get your hands on a CZ75 SP 01 Phantom?? Keen on the polymer body!
Looked in OZ but not able to readily locate any available online.
It seems they are hard to get in the States, recently missed out on a used one on "abused guns"--prefer a new one if possible.
    Whats the story??

A fiend of mine is selling his stainless 75b, it's on abused guns at the mo. I wanted to have it from him, but if it sells before I have money, oh well as I really want to wait for a 75 shadow (non spo1) like the first picture of this thread. Best of both worlds, the looks of the classic cz but the internals of the shadows with out the hammer drop safety

Shame can't get the 85 combats anymore, they would have been just fine.

The CZ 85 Combat is still a current model but, like a lot of other pistols, it is currently out of stock in Australia

        Nice!

What kind of sights are they in the 2nd pic? The front sight looks really tall.

I'm hoping I can post in here shortly, have bought one but am waiting for my 6 month probation to be finished before I can pick it up.

I'm a total newbie, it will be nearly a year since I applied for my licence, you certainly need to be patient to take up the sport!!

Love the photos in this thread, some of the grips people have added look awesome.

For those that do IPSC how many mags have you got? It comes with 4 and I was thinking of grabbing a couple more.

The longest IPSC course of fire is 32 rounds, so you'd think 4 would be enough, but it's not. To allow you select where you can reload (preferably while on the move between targets) you will often reload well before a mag is empty. Then there's the inevitable occasional fumble when you'll drop one, so 5 mags is about the minimum. You'll see most shooters with 6 or more. I shoot and M&P with 5 mags and have used all of them a few times. I also shoot a Super 9 with 6 mags and have not yet used all 6. It's nice to know you've always got a spare ready.

            Regards
            Paul D

Ok nice, just one question, where can I get an extended safety like that?

        • #13
Saw him on Sunday and can confirm he's ok but I'm guessing he's still catching up after being in the US for a couple of weeks.
Good thing I sandbagged the [email protected]#k out of that match or I'd be B Grade in Classic now too................

for IPSC I'd say 6 mags is the norm. you can make do with 5, but 6 is better. personally I usually bring 8 to the range and use 6. though lately I take 12 to the range... lol. just in case. in fact make that 16 as I bring my stock II as a backup and have 6 mags for it too.
