  • Matt... I NEED YOU!

    Yes I do!

Hey, just a quick question, when sizing a piston seal how tight should it be?

I know it's hard to explain in writing, but what kind of a fit and feel should I be going for?

Thanks for your help again mate and as a favour, if anyone asks me, I'm telling them that you are extremely good looking and have an amazing body!

    You're welcome!

You'll probably never NEED a gun. In fact I hope you never do. BUT IF you do, you will probably need it worse than anything you've ever needed before in your life...

Geoff, you promised me that was our little secret mate

Russ, which piston seal & for which gun. The secret is not to go too far.

Its very much a touchy, freely thing. You want it to seal well without being overly tight if that makes sense.

One test with the gun dis-assembled but with the piston in place (cylinder vertical, TP downwards) & a finger over the transfer port, the piston should hold in the cylinder. Remove the finger & the piston should slide.

Its better to take less off & let it run in though shooting it to be honest
