  • PCP reservoir corrosion (or lack of)

I cracked open my MRod earlier to measure up for a De-pinger design.

I have only ever filled my PCP with a Hills Mk3 with Dry PAC pump & I'm pleased to say after 2.5 years of regular filling not a hint of internal corrosion was seen.

The Dry PAC system is obviously doing its job well.

For anyone interested, I am trying to organise a Group Buy from Hills (see Group Buy section)

Thanks for the offer. Blizzard coming with tank. I'm ribbed enough from cocking the springers. Don't need a hunched back as well.
Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.

Good to hear! Have one on it's way from Oleg, along with my M-Rod and other gear. Not long now, just days!

I pulled my Benji out of the safe the other day, 1st time in about 6 months.....dead empty!

      Got another leak somewhere.
Havn't checked it out but I would be betting it is corrosion around the Gauge port again.

Says a lot for the Hills.
I use the Air Venturi pump that I modified so that the entire handle/intake could be filled with Silica gel. (mind you I have not replaced it for a while either )

      Mick.
Working...
