  • Where to start ?

it's almost like starting reloading allover again

So what do i need to get my self setup?
Where can i get it all?
Any good books or websites to look at?

I think that’s about it for now

P.S atm i will only be casing for the .44mag but on seeing how that goes i might try it for the .303 and the 7.62x39

I was looking at starting too myself, I was checking out western firearms, they seam to have a bit of kit. I'm not sure if it's good price or not, but they have just about everything to get started.

Before you start buying moulds and sizers, you need to determine what you will be shooting and the bore of your firearm.

Mould Selection - Will it be for target work, hunting, silly-wets?

Sizer - for most cals 22-30 at least 0.001 over bore diameter
30-45 at least 0,001 to 0,002 over size
45-58 at least 0.002 to 0.003 over size

For a 44 Mag go out and buy a mould that throws .429 dia, then try to size in a .430 die and then wonder why they won't shoot accurately.

If you want some casting info, PM your email address and I will send you some :P
Hold still varmint, whilst I plugs ya!
