  • NRAA 308 ammo

    Hi all,
any one used Winchesters "NRAA 308 155gr Palme Match" ammo in their 308 remingtons?
    if so, how'd it perform?
I got some to try out.
but still waiting on the rem to arrive.

For the price it is extremely accurate and even though it's primarily for shooting targets at 800m+ out of 30" target barrels this ammo seems to shoot well out of pretty much any .308 rifle; my 18" barreled Ruger Scout absolutely loves the stuff, and a lot of the boys in my club using Remington 700s swear by the stuff.

it does what it needs to do for the price but there is far better .308 match ammo available but unfortunately at a much heftier price

yeah I just got some purely to try out when the 308 arrives.
in the meantime I've stocked up on some more dies & brass anyway.
just curious on the stuff, as I can get it cheap.

It can be had relatively cheap compared to hunting ammo. Have not found a rifle that doesn't shoot them well, even if its with the Sierra pill or the Dyer.

At the very least a good way to accumulate brass and run the barrel in.
Working...
