  • Name These Cartridges

    Can anyone name all the cartridges in this photo ?

    No prizes for the first to get them all correct.
    Hint ; They are almost in ascending order of bore size (a few are out of order) and there is one that is 'made up' (the projectile does not belong in the case it is in)
    This post may be fact or opinion, it is up to you to decide which.

      These were the ones I were unsure on and I suspect they were the incorrect as you mentioned, but there would be a couple of others

    I came across these fellows while poking around the forgottenweapons blog the other day:

    I'll do the easy ones - from left is .17 mach IV, 22 swift. The on the far right is 8x57mm

      The one on the extreme left looks like a .17 Remington, a .17 mach IV would be a bit shorter, assuming the case next to it is a .220 Swift.

    The long one is a 8mm polish anti tank and the middle one is a 8mm panzerbuchse
    Oh dear, how sad....never mind.
