I know, zhuk. Gotta love America

On the other hand, that video really showcases the utility of ex-military rifles in original "stock" configuration for target shooting, hunting and self-defence. It makes me glad that I have ex-mil rifles in my gun safe and I don't feel "under gunned" in any way, shape or form.

Yeah, Zhuk.... Not wanting to put him down at all, overall it seemed to be a good wrap up, but I'm afraid he is a bit light on about LeeEnfields other than the sales spiel he might have read.
That Indian No 7 jungle carbeeen doesn't exist. It was a product of the imagination of one of the big US milsurp importers that had heaps of crappy Ishapore 7.62 2A1 rifles and couldn't sell them in original form. As a curiosity it might be worth a couple hundred tops... quite a lot of these launched the flash hider off the barrel downrange when they heated up and on some models the foreend timber was in two pieces, joined under the band, and the end fell off them!

Lol now why don't I find that surprising

"The Gibbs Rifle Company of Martinsburg W. Virginia" were apparently those responsible

Yeah I have a pretty decent stock of them now too. Though the way my eyes are going, think I will remain destined to forever be "outgunned" by most other shooters

sigh, just spent $1100 to "forcefully upgrade" my PC. the storms last weekend took out my 1366 motherboard and my router. 1366 being a few years old, no one makes them anymore and was forced to go 1150 to get it back up and running.

anyways, that same week, 3 rifles i want came up for sale. totaling about $1300 with PTA's and shipping etc. I'm pretty mad.

This thread just rubbed it in that little bit more :P

        Cheers,

        Nuzo
