Hello everyone, Norm here!
I just joined the forum and thought I would introduce myself.
I have a keen interest in all forms of shooting and hunting with a particular liking for long range rifles. This has led me to develop a web site devoted to Australian Long Range Shooting. I regularly shoot at distance out to 1k and occasionally out a lot further.
Although I do a fair bit of long range competition shooting, I actually enjoy field shooting more as it is more relaxed and you can do your own thing.
Hunting is also important to me and I have a long history of Duck, Quail and Deer hunting. For 12 years I run guided Sika deer hunting trips from Australia to New Zealand before other work and my kids became too demanding of my time.
I’ve hunted all deer species in Australia and taken a large number of Sambar over the years. Apart from NZ, I have also hunted in the USA which I found to be quite an experience.
I hope to share some of my knowledge with the members here and to also learn from them. I wish this new forum a lot of success and wish it well for the future.
Cheers Norm.
