Did you sell it, or gift it to someone special?

My scope rings box is a bit like that, made by real old school raily tradies.
Could be 100 years old or so as it would have housed a steam engine gauge or instrument of some kind.

Well all, this is the last post for this knife - She has moved onto its new owner... It will probably be the last fully hand made one for a while - Stepping things up now with a newly acquired grinder

    More to come...

I'm just finalising the box on this bugger. Trying to figure out how to incorporate a hidden magnetic lock (for shits and giggles)...

I'm thinking a pin through the lid that hits a hole in a bronze plate to latch, retracts with a magnet held at the back...??????

By the blokes description, I thought they had gone White but there is some colour.
It's closer to Black than the Fallow Brown.
They have big straight sections that could easily make the scale type handles like Dan does.
Big enough for any sized knife.
The carbon helmet sort of shows the size.
    They look great Magoo

Finally finished the big bad Bowie

Still needs a light sand and a coat of wax, but otherwise she is good to go.

Just to prove I can multitask, knocked up a little axe this afternoon to go with her

Update - I am waiting on some more antler and the previous piece has had a (cough cough) accident. I also decided to bugger up the perfectly good guard I had made - That too has now been repaired
So all is looking great, I started on the sheath today - I had originally wanted to incorporate a shell case into the wooden handle, but that isnt going to be possible with the antler so I decided to use one on the sheath.

You have no idea the bugerising around involved to turn a case head into a snap clip... I tried everything, brazed flared brass tube, flared brass tube. I was about to admit defeat and use epoxy when I decided to try a 3mm SS bolt.

The head almost (not really) looks like a primer - all works, ready to be put together
