  • Weekend Hunt (take 2)

    Ok I'll try again.

    Went shooting on the weekend.

It was bloody hot, to hot even for the ferals to be bothered venturing out.

My 15yr old nephew scored a nice 60kg boar and another young un about 20kg which I didn't get a picture of and the little bugger scored another sow with my 30/30 Winchester.

I scored a young sow and a nanny goat with the 30/30

I also shot a black bunny coz there was nothing else about.

Saw a few more pigs and some deer here and there, plenty foxes and rabbits and pig diggings but the heat had everything laying low most of the weekend. Most of the pigs were taken on Monday morning with slightly cooler weather.

Here's a scenery shot from the back paddock

This is the rick formation we camped at.

Hope it works this bloody time.

Try kicking off a Photobucket account.
Once you upload your pics, you just copy the IMG code & paste it into your post.

Still got those original sights on it mate?
I read your other thread last night where you said you shot the 30/30 at 100yds, thought that was a pretty good effort with those sights you showed me before.

      Mick.
