  • The new place!

Spent a week out on a new property. (well two actually)
There were a few goats around and we managed to clean up a few for the owners. (Just over 200!)
Some of it was hard work, climbing up gullies and rocky outcrops to get into them.
The area was around 50,000 acres, and had some decent hills to climb.
One area where the range runs into another property we managed to get onto there as well so that was a bonus.

We couldn't get out to one area as they were lamb marking out there, but we caught up with the owners son and a couple of workers who were great blokes each night for a few beers.

Dams with yabbies and a few foxes taken made for a great trip.

Exploring new ground, meeting great people and hunting with great mates all made the week a great time!!

Hey, i wasn't asking for a road map. Just unfamiliar terrain and was wondering what part of the country it was.

Ah... good old South Australia. Haven't been there for nearly 20 years. No wonder i don't recognise the landscape.

Anywhere within a 400km radius of tiboorburra there's are goats everywhere, hundreds by the side of the road and through the bush.... But finding the people who own the 200,000 + acre properties is the hard part....
        I throw sub-moa rocks

If you heard the shot, you weren't the target

See any Donkey's or Camels? We knocked over some Donkeys just up over the NSW side of that border only a few months back. They are most certainly on both sides of the border, I guess it would depend on how far North East you were in SA. Either way, keep an eye out for them because their out there.

            No, not up high enough!

            But good to know!

Besides, I got a place up over into the NT for camels and donkeys!
        Working...
