      Yep, the 87 V-max is my choice for small game from the 243, it shits all over the lighter ones.

        Explosive mate good shooting. I use 70gr SBK's is my .243 and they are like bombs when they hit small game. Although last Kitty I shot was with my .308 using 150gr Accubonds.

        Blew it to the absolute shithouse!!!!

        Saved plenty of natives mate well done...

            So did the cat actually do any harm or did you kill it because it was outside, I think killing it may have been unnecessary and you just felt like shooting at something.

              For all concerned about the poor kids next door loosing their cat don't stress it was acutely a feral cat shot on a 10,000 acre farm.
