  • filthy mud marlin

    no kings around yet so I got so desperate to catch something I caught 5 of these dirty mud suckers this arvo :lol: this was the biggest one

    had one that even jumped out of the water and did some big surface runs on the 4lb gear lol

    I reckon carp are good fun to catch. Not too smart & the biguns' put up a decent fight. I dragged a monster out of the Yarra a few years ago & it took a few minutes to get him up onto the bank.

    I'm told they make good fertiliser. Bury them in a compost heap & they do wonders for the soil apparently.

      Hey Overkill. They are Nuthead's pics, but the Yarra is full of mud suckers.
