  • Brown rice 'stew'

    Iv been trying the following, a tasty vegetarian stew if I can call it that.

    In a rice cooker about
    1-2 cups brown rice, washed first and cooked for however long it needs once cooked, stir in
    a cup or two of green peas and a tin of
    mexican refried beans, not the spicy type (mexebeans)
    maybe a bit of salt to taste.

    sometimes Ill hide a few chicken wings in the bottom of the rice for a surprise, but the stew is quite tasty.
