  • Savage AICS/Viperskin Chassis

I just finished this one off, it's to suit a 4.4" short action Savage model 10:

These are the army green viperskins

I made some of these picatinny spigots, it makes it easy to mount an Atlas or other bipod without having to buy a spigot adapter, it replaces the push in spigot

This one also has a rear bag rider, it fits up the same as a regular buttpad spacer

The savages need a longer bolt cutout piece to fit the bolt release lever

Another view of the rear bag rider

The bottom of the forend, it has a slot to fit Anschutz rail type accessories like the front bag rider below as well as a sling stud/Harris bipod mount

Another view of the picatinny front adapter

It's also pocketed out on the top side to remove a little weight and so it doesn't just look like a chunk of alloy stuck in there

I've also got some on the way to suit the 4.27" action screw spacing.
Guns don't kill people, Chuck Norris does.

They're well an truly on the way mate, I've been getting all the little bits and pieces done, spent a day today making the front sling studs, fiddly little suckers but they came out good.
Working...
