  • Clamp on muzzle brake torque

    Hi guys,

Does anyone have any ideas or theories on how much torque is required for a clamp on muzzle brake, I imagine it needs to be fairly snug. The brake I have " not sure what it's called or who made it" has 4 screws about 4mm diameter to secure it if that helps and it's going onto a heavy barreled 308 Howa.

    Cheers in advance,

    Several.

4mm screws wouldn't any more more than a few in/lbs or . something of a NM

Bought it from a guy on the old forum, $130 from memory.
