  • Atlas bipod's

Hey guys. I'm not sure if this is in the right section as I can't find an equipment section.

I had the pleasure of using an Atlas bipod on the weekend at Little River (if the guys are on the forums, just want to say a HUGE thank you, you'll know who you are). I'm now looking at buying one for my 700 milspec, only issue is that it looks like the bipod must be mounted by the likes of a piccatiny bottom rail.
The H-S precision stock has 2 front sling swivel studs, so my question is does anyone know how to mount an atlas bipod on one of these?

    Thanks in advance guys.

    one of these:
    either should be ok.

    and get these

unscrew your swivel studs then use the two scres that come with the BT1517 rail fastening kit in their place .
    really easy

might not appear very straight , yours might not either. the way they were drilled thanks to HS Precision.

i've got one of these on my 5R Milspec too. from memory its the shorter BT15 rail you need for the screw spacing on the HS stock.

no worries at all Tim , glad to be of some assistance.

Thedude, the other rail should work fine , but i have used the BT15 on my above pictured 5R stock and i reckon it works better than the BT17 would
