  • Travelling interstate with firearms

Hi all. I'm travelling to Victoria for my holidays to do some hunting I'll be travelling through NSW and South Australia on the way are there any permits required to transfer weapons across state boundaries ? As long as my firearms and ammunition are stored correctly in accordance with particular state laws I should be fine I'm assuming. Just looking for any info regarding this.
    PS I'm travelling from WA.

    Cheers in advance

As long as you comply with storage requirements firearms and ammunition relevant to each state you'll be ok, only drama is an eastener headed over west.

I regularly travel NSW to Vic and have never had an issue as long as you comply with each state regs, which can be different.
